The SafeSparrow Attachment does 3 things that the DJI Neo® drone cannot do by itself:
Fly in the dark
Video Stream in real time to police & family
Connect to the SafeSparrow app to share video with police or family in real time
That’s right, without the SafeSparrow attachment, the drone cannot fly in the dark, cannot stream video and cannot contact family and police with birds’-eye view video.
Our patent pending optical spotlight system, not only illuminates you and your surroundings, but it exposes features necessary for the drone to see and navigate autonomously at night!

The DJI Neo® Drone is arguably THE BEST selfie drone on the market. It takes stunning videos from above and saves them on board the drone. The video can be downloaded from the drone later.
It also follows you using computer vision, meaning there is no need for a remote control! It just follows you! And it conveniently takes off & lands right from your hand!
Without the SafeSparrow Attachment the drone cannot fly in the dark, only during the day. It also does not stream video without the SafeSparrow Attachment.
Use the DJI Neo® for fun videos and great footage! To be able to fly at night and stream video to the police & family, pair it with the SafeSparrow Attachment.

Yes, it can!
It will effortlessly weave behind you and follow you up to 22 mph!
It is possible for the drone to lose track of you. For example: in dark lighting conditions, sudden changes in speed or direction can lose the drone. However, even in complete darkness, the drone can follow you like normal as long as your movement is somewhat smooth.
If the drone loses sight of you, it will wait until it sees you again.

“Hey, can you watch me walk home?”
Your family and friends can watch your video in real time whenever you would like! Just text them the link and click “Start Streaming” in the app.
Family and friends do not need to download the app. They can view your real time video over the internet!
Included in the Premium Security Subscription.

The drone hovers within a couple of feet above the height of your head. That means as you crouch down, the drone crouches down as well! And if you jump, the drone will jump!
But could someone hit the drone out of the air?
The focus is to keep YOU safe. Someone could hit the drone out of the air, but that requires them to call A LOT of attention to themselves and gives you necessary time to prepare. This means you are a MUCH harder target. That’s often enough to make them pick someone else.
This height is the sweet spot! Flying the drone any higher would cause inconvenience with trees, wires, signs, etc.

Each one is the same size as an Apple Air Pods Pro case!
That means you can carry as many as you would like without too much inconvenience!
(Size measured in volume. The battery is slightly thinner and taller than an Apple Air Pods Pro Case.

YES! The whole process is very fast.
While changing drone batteries (under 30 seconds), the SafeSparrow Attachment lights, camera and security system continue to function perfectly.
The flight time of the drone on one battery is 18 minutes in ideal conditions. In real life, it may be closer to 13-15 minutes, meaning a user can quickly change batteries for flight times of:
1 Battery ~ 15 minutes
2 Batteries ~ 30 minutes
3 Batteries ~ 45 minutes
etc...The SafeSparrow Attachment maintains battery life for approx. 30 minutes when using full LED brightness and camera streaming. This is a rechargeable fixed battery and does not get removed or replaced.

The system is very versatile and easy to use. But here are some tips and tricks for best performance:
CLOTHING:
You can wear whatever you would like! However in dark lighting, if wearing black clothing, you may have to walk slowly. For best performance, wear light clothing in low light conditions.
THE GROUND:
To stay stable, the drone must be able to see unique features below it on the ground. If flying over:
Perfectly uniform surfaces (ie. untouched snow, clean black surfaces, etc.)
Repeating patterns (ie. identical tile floors)
Then the drone may decide to land for safety.
